Used Gibson J45 Acoustic Guitar
Although a Gibson J45 should have a sunburst finish, this one seems to be an exception. It has a rather faded J45 stamp inside the guitar and a serial number from 1964, but it’s appointments make it a J50. It’s not unheard of to see these peculiarities from the Gibson factory. Anyway, the finish is certainly original as the significant lacquer checking can attest to. All cracks have been addressed, a new period-appropriate pickguard has been installed, new frets and neck reset all done by Tucker Barrett. Very clean work. She plays really well. Great old woody Gibson tone that’s equally at home in a strumming or Travis-picked environment.
Hard case included.
