We liked the first one so much that we ordered the same uke again from Collings. Collings UC3 M SB Custom. At first I was leery about “Tangerine Sunburst”- sounds way too outrageously orange. But in hand I think this is one of the most beautiful ukuleles I’ve ever seen. Thanks Angela at Collings- she talked me into this one. Curly Maple with spruce top, the sunburst is all over the body, neck and peg head. The fret board and peg head are Brazilian rosewood, a perfect color contrast to the finish. Body and peg head are bound with a rich tortoise purfling. All this before we even get to talking about the sound. Which is of course brilliant- clear, colorful, balanced, loud!
Howz about “On the Beach at Waikiki”???
